Content Policy

Crab Cards is built around sharing: decks you build, cards you trade, collections you show off. That only works if the space stays welcoming for every kind of collector who walks through the door. This policy covers what we allow in deck names, deck notes, and trade messages, and what happens when something doesn't belong.

What we don't allow

When you name a deck, write deck notes, or send a trade message, keep it something you'd say to another player across the table. That means none of the following:

• Harassment, threats, or hate speech, including slurs aimed at who someone is
• Sexual or graphic content
• Spam, scams, or spammy links
• Anything else meant to intimidate or demean another collector

This applies anywhere your words reach someone else: a public deck page, a shared deck link, or a message in a trade conversation.

Automatic filtering, and what to do if it gets something wrong

We run deck names, deck notes, and trade messages through an automatic filter before they're saved or sent. It's built to catch the things listed above, not to be clever about Magic slang or deck names, so once in a while it may flag something completely innocent.

If that happens to you, it's not a big deal to fix. Visit our support page, pick “Something else,” and let us know what you were trying to save. We'll take a look and sort it out.

Reporting something you see

Come across a deck name, deck notes, or a trade message that crosses the line? You can report it from right where you found it. On a public deck page, the report option works even if you're not signed in. Inside a trade conversation, you can report a specific message from your trade partner.

We review every report and act when it's warranted, whether that means making a deck private or removing a message. Reports can be sent anonymously, so we can't send a status update back on an anonymous one, but we do follow up on what we find.

Blocking someone

If another collector is making trading unpleasant, you don't have to put up with it. Block them from your account settings and they can't propose trades or reach you as a trade partner anymore. Any trade already open between you is cancelled automatically. You can unblock someone later, though you'll need to reconnect as trade partners to trade again.

What happens when we take action

• A deck with a flagged name or notes gets set to private, and the owner hears from us about why.
• A trade message gets replaced with a notice that it was removed, shown to both sides of the conversation.

None of this touches your cards or the rest of your collection. It's limited to the specific name, notes, or message that broke the rules above.
